Palladium Brings Children’s Series, Raggs, to its Mexico, Jamaica and Dominican Republic Resorts

Palladium Hotels & Resorts will now feature Play at Palladium with Raggs at its resorts in Riviera Maya and Riviera Nayarit in Mexico, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and Montego Bay, Jamaica. There are currently 12 Palladium Hotels & Resorts located in Mexico (Riviera Nayarit and Riviera Maya), the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), Jamaica (Montego Bay), Spain (Ibiza) and Brazil (Bahia).

Raggs is an Emmy award-winning live action TV series starring five musical pups, which currently airs in English on Public TV and in Spanish on Telemundo in the U.S. The characters will appear exclusively at Palladium Hotels & Resorts starting July 20; and fully-produced live musical stage shows at the resorts’ on-site theatres will commence in November. Parents can also arrange for special private playtimes with Raggs for an added fee.

The Raggs characters also sing together as The Raggs Band. The rockin’ musical group’s new live stage show will debut in November in the Palladium’s large on-site theaters and feature 10 of the band’s hit songs. While the songs will be sung primarily in English, added commentary will be in various languages such as Spanish, French, German and Russian.

Palladium Hotels & Resorts currently provides Kids’ Clubs tiered for different age groups at its resorts, with special sections and activities for kids ranging from 1-19. Its Kids’ Club in Punta Cana, "Castillo del Pirata" is the largest in the Caribbean and Mexico. Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort & Spa in Punta Cana also offers special Family Friendly Rooms for an added fee. Guests simply send their children’s needs prior to traveling and upon arrival the room will be outfitted with age-appropriate welcome packs created especially for kids ages 1-19.

As part of the pre-launch anticipation, Raggs is releasing a new music video called "Fun Day in the Sun Day," which is available at Palladium.com, Raggs.com and the Raggs Band channel on YouTube. Raggs has also launched a new mobile-friendly website at Raggs.com that includes streaming of a new episode daily in both English and Spanish.
