Antigua is an island to be seen! From an all-female led island safari tour to the destination’s hottest catamaran cruise, the all-inclusive Elite Island Resorts offers something for everyone encouraging guests to get off property and explore this exciting Caribbean destination. Elite Island Resorts’ Antigua properties include the adults only Hammock Cove, Galley Bay Resort & Spa, and Pineapple Beach Club, and the all-ages St. James’s Club & Villas and The Verandah Resort & Spa.

Pink Panther Safari Tour

An all-female led island safari tour with super-glam, custom-built hot pink Land Rovers, Pink Panther takes guests on full tours of the island, showcasing the best of Antigua’s historical, cultural, and geological points of interest. History lovers can explore Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is located in picturesque English Harbor, with its famed Georgian-style naval buildings dating back to the 18th century. Then it’s up to Shirley Heights, a restored military lookout and Antigua’s most Instagrammable-views of English and Falmouth Harbors. There’s also Devil’s Bridge, a stunning glimpse of naturally carved limestone surrounded by rough waters; an interior rainforest—Fig Tree Drive— a lush, tropical immersion, and the Betty Hope Sugar plantation, a historical site dating back to 1651. Guests will also visit the island’s capital city of St. John’s for duty-free shopping, and a welcome stop at the striking white stretch of sand at famed Turner’s Beach on the southwestern-most tip of Antigua—the definition of tranquility. The tour also stops for a fabulous lunch at Papa’s by the Sea, and plenty of “rum punch on the road.”

To the Sea on the Calypso Cat Catamaran

For sea lovers, Captain Noel DuBerry of the Calypso Cat Catamaran, will lead guests on a variety of cruises, whether it’s a half day, full day, sunset, or even private charters. Hailing from the village of Bolans, Noel has led vacationers around the island for 16 years with Elite, and has been a licensed boat captain for 20 years. One of his favorite stops is Cades Reef, which offers some of the best snorkeling in Antigua, well known for its beautiful living reef system, idyllic beaches, and calm turquoise waters. He also loves taking guests to Bird Island, a fantastic location for snorkeling and viewing both bird and marine life.
