Welcome to the February 2022 edition of Caribbean Connection, a monthly e-magazine from go! Destination Marketing created expressly for travel agents

The good news for travel advisors and their clients is travel restrictions and protocols seem to be relaxing a bit. It’s obvious that we still have a swinging door situation when it comes to COVID and its variants, but hopefully the door is swinging open for good this time. A travel survey from VisitorsCoverage.com reported that 70 percent of respondents in the survey plan to travel more in 2022 than they did in 2021. Great news. The downside is they may prefer the autonomy of driving in their own car. With a little luck that confidence will carry over to boarding flights to the Caribbean for a much-needed getaway.
