Part of A Taste of Auberge, a new culinary journey bringing together exclusive chef collaborations and restaurant pop-ups at select properties throughout 2022.

Our first guest chef will be Chef JJ Johnson, a James Beard Award winner, author, founder, television personality, and philanthropist the New York Times hailed as “a young chef on the rise,” and Esquire deemed “the food prophet of Harlem.” Join Chef JJ March 11th-13th, 2022, as he kicks off a month-long residency with culinary experiences including live bonfire cooking demonstrations, beachside cocktail parties, and a soulful Sunday brunch collaborating with our talented culinary team, local fisherman, live musical guests, and the local Anguillan community. Chef JJ Johnson - March 11th to April 8th, 2022

Chef JJ Johnson is a James Beard award winning chef, TV personality, author, and philanthropist best known for his barrier-breaking cuisine informed by the Caribbean flavors of his upbringing. Chef JJ’s signature cooking style combines culturally relevant ingredients and classical technique with a global point of view that we look forward to infusing with our true island flavors and our celebrated culinary team at Malliouhana.

A Soulful Culinary Weekend with Chef JJ Johnson - March 11th-13th

Over the course of the opening weekend, Chef JJ will take you on a culinary journey to remember as he hosts bonfire cooking demonstrations, a beachside cocktail party at Leon’s, and a soulful Sunday brunch collaborating with our culinary team, live musical guests, and the local Anguillan community. Utilizing local produce and the freshest catch from our Caribbean waters, delight in the classic island fare and handcrafted cocktails as you revel in the relaxing atmosphere at our celebrated oceanfront dining institutions.

Custom Menu Creations by Chef JJ Johnson at Celeste

Chef JJ will be partnering with local Anguillan fisherman and purveyors to utilize the freshest ingredients to bring his own culinary style to Celeste, featuring a selection of menu creations available March 11th through April 8th, 2022. Menu highlights will include a fresh catch whole fish served with a local fruit escovitch, a collard green salad with fresh coconut dressing and cashews, and a fried jerk chicken tower with yam waffles, charred watermelon, and banana rum syrup.
